The approach DEI seminars typically use is first to make participants feel guilty by exposing their hidden prejudices. Then they make participants fearful about losing their  jobs and breaking the law for those prejudices. What this does is make participants angry, defensive, and more biased. The New Right has been mocking "zombie Reaganism" and the limited government, free market, individual liberty agenda that his brand of conservatism stood for. They say those policies are out of date and their advocates "don't know what time it is." Actually, though, many of the problems Reagan dealt with successfully are the same problems we face today.
